When it comes to getting qualified to practice as a PA, you need to take the national board certification exam so that you work in other states in the U.S. Before you can even take the certification exam you are required to get a degree from a PA school.
Once you accomplish that then you can take the Physician Assistant National Certification Exam (PANCE). PAs are trained to be generalists in medicine so that they are able to provide the basic health care services that are usually performed by physicians themselves. They can also work in different specialties such as cardiovascular surgery, orthopedics, and emergency medicine. Again, this is a great career to go after.
